Coffee, ahhh, coffee. Why some of us are able to get up in the mornings. Why some of us are able to function during the day. What gives some of us a reason for living. Ok, well maybe that's just us, but we thought there may be a few of you out there who could relate. 

You know that feeling you get when you walk into a coffee shop? When the glorious smell of fresh brewed coffee meets your nostrils and you inhale as deeply as possible without making the person next you start staring. Yeah, that's the one. That's the one we want you to have every time you walk into Grassroots. Sure, we've got delicious fresh baked pastries, hand crafted sandwiches, fresh fruit. But what we're really about is coffee. We want you to be as excited as we are about delicious, high quality, tried and true coffee. 

We start with raw beans. Then we roast them. Then the fun starts. For each bean we roast, we have a panel of skilled coffee tasters do a cupping (or tasting) with each one. If the beans were roasted a little too long or maybe at a temperature that was a little too high, we try again. And again. Until we get it absolutely perfect. Guess what? It's all for you- our customer! Well that, and we love coffee.
